Celebrating Take Your Dog to Work Day at VetStem

Posted by Bob under Dogs, VetStem

Take Your Dog to Work Day is the perfect excuse to spend a little extra time with our four-legged best friends while recognizing the positive impact they can have in the workplace. While having dogs around certainly makes the office more fun, research suggests there may be real benefits as well. Studies have found that dog-friendly workplaces can help reduce stress, improve employee well-being, and increase job satisfaction. One review of workplace dog programs noted that dogs can contribute to a more positive work environment and support employee health and wellness.

Dogs may also help strengthen connections between coworkers. Research has shown that dogs in the workplace can encourage social interaction, boost morale, and create a greater sense of community among employees. Whether it’s stopping to say hello to a furry coworker, taking a quick walk outside, or sharing stories about our pets, dogs have a unique way of bringing people together and brightening the workday.

At VetStem, we are proud to be a dog-friendly workplace and enjoy these benefits every day. It’s not uncommon to see dogs making the rounds for treats and attention, relaxing beside their owners’ desks, or joining us for a walk during a break. Their presence helps create a welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere and serves as a daily reminder of why we’re so passionate about helping animals live happier, more comfortable lives. This Take Your Dog to Work Day, we’re celebrating all of the dogs who make our workplace a little brighter.
