Ensure Your Pet’s Future with VetStem StemInsure

Posted by Bob under Stem Cell Storage, StemInsure

As pet parents, we all want to be prepared, whether it’s for an unexpected injury or a chronic condition that affects our furry friend’s comfort and quality of life. What if there was a way to plan ahead for your pet’s health, giving you access to cutting-edge treatment options before problems arise? That’s where VetStem StemInsure comes in.

VetStem’s StemInsure is a proactive stem cell banking service that allows pet owners to have their pet’s own regenerative stem cells collected and stored for future use. A small sample of fat tissue is

collected by your veterinarian, typically during a routine procedure like a spay/neuter or dental cleaning—and sent to VetStem’s lab, where stem cells are isolated and cryopreserved. These banked cells can later be used to treat a variety of orthopedic conditions like arthritis and soft tissue injuries, as well as various internal medicine and inflammatory diseases, providing a personalized and minimally invasive treatment option when it’s needed most.

The key benefit of StemInsure is that it prepares you in advance. By banking stem cells when your pet is young and healthy, you’re capturing them at their most potent and avoiding the need for future surgical collection when your pet is older or ill. Because VetStem Cell Therapy uses your pet’s own cells, it reduces the risk of reaction and allows for faster access to treatment if health issues arise down the road.

VetStem StemInsure gives peace of mind and flexibility in managing your pet’s long-term wellness. Whether your pet is an active breed, has a predisposition to joint issues, or you simply want to be ready for the unexpected, banking stem cells today ensures you’re equipped with advanced treatment options for tomorrow.

StemInsure: The Stem Cell Insurance

Posted by Bob under Stem Cells, StemInsure

As responsible pet owners, we often seek ways to safeguard the health and well-being of our canine companions throughout their lives. We vaccinate them as puppies and put them on high quality diets and supplements to keep them as healthy as possible. We invest in pet insurance to ensure they receive the best care possible. But what if there was another way to help insure your dog’s future?

The VetStem StemInsure is a cutting-edge service that harnesses the power of stem cells for potential future use. StemInsure allows pet owners to store a sample of their pet’s own stem cells while they are still healthy. This proactive approach holds the key to unlocking a myriad of health benefits and addressing potential challenges that may arise later in their lives.

Stem cells are the body’s natural healing cells. They can reduce inflammation, pain, and even lead to tissue regeneration. Storing these cells when your dog is young serves as a strategic investment in their future health. Young dogs typically possess a higher concentration of robust and healthy stem cells, making the preservation process more effective. This bank of youthful stem cells can be a valuable resource for addressing a wide range of health issues that may emerge as your dog ages, from joint problems to degenerative conditions.

Furthermore, the act of storing stem cells early in your dog’s life provides a unique opportunity to customize and personalize their healthcare journey. As each dog is an individual with its own genetic makeup and predispositions, having a bank of their own stem cells allows veterinarians to tailor treatment plans specifically to your furry friend. This targeted approach can lead to more effective outcomes, whether the need arises for regenerative therapy due to injury, surgery, or the management of chronic conditions.

Storing stem cells for your dog may help to ensure a healthier and happier life for your beloved pet. By securing this “stem cell insurance” while they are young, you are taking a proactive and personalized approach towards giving your dog the best possible chance at a vibrant and active life throughout the years.

The VetStem Canine StemInsure

Posted by Bob under Dog Stem Cells, StemInsure, VetStem

March 23rd was National Puppy Day. To help you celebrate, we thought we would share how puppies can benefit from VetStem Cell Therapy. That’s right, stem cell therapy is not just for older or injured dogs, it can help puppies too!

VetStem StemInsure: The Stem Cell Insurance

VetStem offers a service called StemInsure. Similar to storing your baby’s stem cells at birth, the canine StemInsure provides peace of mind with banked stem cells that can be used later in life should your dog require them. Hence why we like to think of it as stem cell “insurance.” While many owners take advantage of this service for their young, healthy dogs, older dogs have benefitted from StemInsure as well.

What is the StemInsure Process?

The StemInsure process is similar to our standard stem cell process where we extract stem cells out of a small amount of fat from your furry friend. This small sample of cells can be stored for the lifetime of your dog and can be used to culture, or grow, therapeutic stem cell doses should your dog become sick or injured later in life. While many dogs can benefit from StemInsure, this process is ideal for large breed puppies and other breeds that are considered high risk for developing orthopedic diseases as they age.

Benefits of StemInsure

StemInsure comes with several advantages. First, the fat tissue can be collected in conjunction with an already scheduled, routine procedure such as a spay or neuter. While performing the routine procedure, your veterinarian will simply collect a small amount of fat from your dog and send it to our laboratory to be processed. If your dog requires stem cell therapy in the future, he/she won’t need to go through an additional fat collection procedure.

Another benefit of StemInsure is the price. The StemInsure process costs considerably less than our standard process. Because there are no therapeutic doses being sent for immediate treatment, the stem cell processing is much less intensive. Additionally, StemInsure cell banking is a bit cheaper than standard stem cell banking.
